Cancellation Policy
At Connect the Dots Learning Academy, we understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise. Our cancellation policy outlines the terms and conditions for canceling services or programs and ensures transparency for all parties involved.

1. General Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing via text or email to anita@connectthedotsla.org or through our online portal. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted.

2. Tutoring Services
2.1 Cancellations by Clients

Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance of the scheduled session.

Sessions canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice will be charged the full session fee.

Rescheduling is subject to availability and must be arranged at least 24 hours in advance.

2.2 Cancellations by Connect the Dots Learning Academy

If we need to cancel a session, clients will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund for the session fee.

3. Homeschooling Support and Professional Development Programs
3.1 Cancellations by Clients​

Cancellations made 7 days or more before the program start date will receive a full refund, minus any non-refundable registration fees.

Cancellations made within 7 days of the program start date will receive a 50% refund of the total program cost.

No refunds will be issued after the program has commenced.​
3.2 Cancellations by Connect the Dots Learning Academy

If we cancel a program due to low enrollment or other unforeseen circumstances, clients will receive a full refund of all fees paid.

4. Learning Space Design Services
4.1 Client-Initiated Cancellations

Cancellations made within 48 hours of booking will receive a full refund.

Cancellations made after 48 hours but before the service begins will receive a refund minus a 20% service charge for planning and administrative costs.

No refunds will be issued once the design process has started.
4.2 Rescheduling

Clients may request to reschedule the service at least 7 days in advance, subject to availability.

5. Educational Products

Returns and cancellations of physical products are subject to our Product Return Policy.

Digital products, once delivered or accessed, are non-refundable.

6. Refund Process

Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of approval.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.

7. Non-Refundable Fees
The following fees are non-refundable:

Registration fees

Customization fees for tailored services

Materials fees once they have been provided

8. Exceptions
Exceptions to this policy may be made on a case-by-case basis for emergencies or other extenuating circumstances. Supporting documentation may be required.
